The firm counsels clients in all phases of real estate including the acquisition, exchange, development, disposition, financing, and utilization of commercial, industrial and residential real property. The firm has considerable expertise in applying advantageous tax planning techniques to the negotiation of real estate transactions, and in the preparation of supporting legal documentation, including the negotiation and preparation of complex leases and the speedy resolution of landlord/tenant disputes. The firm also acts as general counsel for homeowners associations, providing legal services in connection with the interpretation, enforcement and revision of governing documents, insurance, management, and construction issues, the duties and powers of the Board of Directors, and collection of delinquent assessments. The firm has been actively involved in counseling both boards of directors and individual homeowners in issues related to the recovery from the Northridge earthquake.

Finally, the firm advises clients in all areas of employment and workplace law, including the preparation of employment manuals and injury and illness prevention programs, and the resolution of employment harassment, discrimination, and wrongful termination litigation.
